Bermuda has the population of a large town in the UK or USA but it has a large amount of schools for such a small population.  Many of the schools, however, have a low number of pupils when compared with other countries around the world. The structure of the schooling system in Bermuda includes Government and private schools, and a college which allows students to pursue further education locally.  The following is a list of the schools on the island:
